Greenhouse gas emissions management and climate change adaptation
1. Carbon footprint assessment
● Collect comprehensive data on the client's activities, operations, and resource use, including energy consumption, transportation, waste generation, and other relevant factors.
● Quantify the carbon footprint using established methodologies and emission factors to calculate the greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide) released due to the client's activities
● Providing the client with a GHG monitoring and calculation Excel sheet and/or a Methodology framework to establish the process within the organisation and present the findings in a clear and understandable format agreed with the client (pdf, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
● Benchmark the client's carbon footprint against industry standards, best practices, and relevant benchmarks
● Assist in developing a reduction strategy and providing recommendations for reducing the client's carbon footprint; set targets for emission reductions and providing recommendations to implement sustainable practices in client`s organisation.
Order the service2. Climate Risk Assessment and GHG calculations (Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3)
● Identify the three scopes of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions: Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy), and Scope 3 (indirect value chain emissions). Work with the client to collect relevant data on energy use, fuel consumption, and other activities contributing to GHG emissions within each scope.
● Calculate and quantify the GHG emissions for each scope by using established protocols and emission factors.
● Conduct a climate risk assessment to analyze the potential impact of current and future climate-related events on the client's operations and supply chain by assessing vulnerabilities, identifying areas at risk, and conducting scenario analyses to understand how climate-related changes may affect GHG emissions and overall business resilience

● Analyze existing policies and procedures within the client's organization to identify areas that require enhancement or alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, or specific organizational goals.

● Develop customized policies and procedures that articulate the organization's management approach following the client`s request and scope (Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies; quality management policies; health and safety policies; risk management policies, etc.).
● Optional assistance in providing support during the implementation of new policies and procedures and capacity building activities (e.g. conducting training sessions for employees to ensure understanding and compliance).
