    ● Providing to client a GHG monitoring and calculation Excel sheet and/or Methodology framework to establish the process in organisation and present the findings in a clear and understandable format agreed with the client (pdf, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    ● Benchmarking the client's carbon footprint against industry standards, best practices, and relevant benchmarks
Assistance in developing a reduction strategy and providing recommendations for reducing the client's carbon footprint; set targets for emission reductions and providing recommendations to implement sustainable practices in client`s organisation.

  • 2. Climate Risk Assessment and GHG calculations (Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3)

    ● Identifying the three scopes of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions: Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy), and Scope 3 (indirect value chain emissions). Work with the client to collect relevant data on energy use, fuel consumption, and other activities contributing to GHG emissions within each scope
    ● Calculate and quantify the GHG emissions associated with each scope by using established protocols and emission factors
Conduct a climate risk assessment by analysing the potential impact of current and future climate-related events on the client's operations and supply chain by assessing vulnerabilities, identifying areas at risk, and conducting scenario analyses to understand how climate-related changes may affect GHG emissions and overall business resilience.

  • 3. Policy and procedure development to present and describe management approach

    ● Analysis of the existing policies and procedures within the client's organization to identify areas that require enhancement or alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, or specific organizational goals
    ● Ensure that the management approach is reflective of the organization's values, objectives, and the expectations of various stakeholders via stakeholder engagement activities (e.g. communication with key stakeholders)
    ● Develop customized policies and procedures that articulate the organization's management approach following the client`s request and scope (Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies; quality management policies; health and safety policies; risk management policies, etc.)
Optional assistance in providing support during the implementation of new policies and procedures and capacity building activities (e.g. conducting training sessions for employees to ensure understanding and compliance)

  • 4. Assessing climate change potential for operational and project activity

    ● Conducting a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) emission inventory for both operational and project activities.
    ● Conduct a risk assessment to identify and evaluate the potential climate change impacts on the client's operational and project activities which includes assessing vulnerabilities to extreme weather events, changes in temperature and precipitation patterns, sea-level rise, and other climate-related factors
    ● Provide analysis to explore potential future climate scenarios and their implications for the client's activities.
    ● Develop adaptation strategies that enhance resilience to climate change impacts
    ● Provide recommendations on integrating climate change assessments into broader sustainability practices and frameworks, e.g. guidance on reporting frameworks, such as the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), to enhance transparency and disclosure of climate-related risks and opportunities.

  • 5. The Green Economy Progress (GEP) measurement

    ● Baseline assessment of the client's current green practices and initiatives by evaluating existing environmental policies, resource management strategies, energy efficiency measures, waste reduction efforts, and other sustainable practices within the organization
    ● Benchmark the client's green practices against established green economy standards, frameworks, and best practices
    ● Development of key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to green economy progress to define measurable and relevant indicators that reflect progress toward a green economy
    ● Develop a tailored roadmap for advancing green practices and achieving green economy progress.

  • 6. Climate Adaptation Planning

    ● Conduct assessment to identify and understand the potential impacts of climate change on the client's operations, infrastructure, and surrounding communities
    ● Prioritize identified risks based on severity and likelihood through scenario planning and implications
    ● Development of a comprehensive climate adaptation strategy tailored to the client's specific needs and circumstances considering both physical changes (e.g., infrastructure improvements, flood defences) and non-physical strategies (e.g., policy changes, community engagement).

  • 7. Evaluation of the potential environmental impacts of projects, including consideration of climate change factors

    ● Conducting comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessments for proposed project/ongoing activity considering factors such as air and water quality, soil integrity, biodiversity, and ecosystem health
    ● Conduct a dedicated climate change risk analysis to identify potential impacts on the project by assessing vulnerabilities to climate-related factors, including changes in temperature, precipitation patterns, and extreme weather events
    ● Evaluation of potential environmental impacts, consultants work with the client to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies
    ● Ensuring that the project's environmental impact evaluation aligns with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices; integrate climate change considerations into existing environmental management frameworks.
Recommending and designing mitigation measures to avoid, minimize, or offset adverse impacts.
